The American Red Cross assists community members in acute times of need. Supporting Disaster Services, Armed Forces Emergency Services and the Food Pantry ensures that all members of the Rockingham Community will have their basic needs met. Salvation Army provides lodging, food, clothing and other basic needs for Rockingham County residents through its Emergency Financial Assistance Program in Reidsville. Hot meals are available to anyone in Rockingham County through its Share a Meal program in Eden, Monday through Friday, at noon. The Youth Outreach program assists youth in developing life skills and achieving academic success.

The Student Health Centers provide comprehensive health care to students through education, prevention, treatment and referral. Services include sports physicals, minor injuries and illness care, immunizations, and other treatments, screenings and referrals. All high school students with signed parental consent are eligible to access care at the health centers.
